Why do I need to delete the application? Is this a part of the deployment workflow? It's not Maybe if you made an analogy to a real life example it would be more clear.

1. too basic - no blue/green example (although it is an intro lab) 2. needs updates - AWS UI has changed a bit (e.g. now they offer blue/green as well as in-place deploys) 3. I suggest tying this back to CodePipeline
