Introduction to AWS CloudFormation Designer Reviews

Update:(Not following instructions) when inputting specifying resource properties json on the ec2 instance it is not saving when i click save/refresh/validate template resulting my created stack to fail or am not following directions properly :| I think number 23 direction is kind of confusing?
