There was no instance running to attach the volume to. Not a big deal really but it is a step that could not be completed.

can't the AZ be fixed at us-west-2a for the purposes of the lab? can't copy paste from qwiklab to console unlike previous labs, I wasn't told to delete the state (EBS volumes here), was I supposed to?
