i tried and did not get any running instance while attaching the volume. while i checked in ec2 > running instance. I can see one instance was there. Please let me know if i am doing wrong

Should encourage better EC2 steps: Stop Instance -> Detach Volume -> Create Volume -> Launch New Instance -> Create Volume from Snapshot -> Attach New Volume. This sequence is better practice for maintaining data integrity.

good lab. I like the snapshot>volume create feature to promote a filesystem or volume to faster disk.
