Great lab, not complicated but to the point and shows how easy it is to provision EBS. It helps to have two displays to have the instructions on one screen and the console on another.

Nice beginner tutorial. One piece of feedback: the zone I was on had a busy volume that I couldn't attach to, so I deleted my first volume and started over in a different zone. For fresh beginners, it might be a good idea to note that this may happen and to provide them instructions on how to delete their volume and start over in a different zone. :) Otherwise, a great tutorial!
