More difficult than I had hoped - especially when I wasn't seeing what I was expecting or the system wasn't behaving as I had expected. Plus, some seemingly basic steps are missing in the lab write up -which very new beginners like me had difficulty addressing. (i.e. refresh screen is good advice in lots of places. plus, introduce the left side Vertical as the 'navigation pane' - I/.e. orienting the new user to each screen could be helpful.
