it was okay, should have mentioned....the ability to keep the instance from terminating also....you may want to keep an instance that's up and running as launching/terminating an instance you'll lose and updates on the current instance...

Only a kind of failover in this lab and not real auto scaling based on load

The lab was very basic. I would have liked to have seen how the min / max / desired instances settings behaved in relation to each other as a final step. Other than that, the instructions were easy to follow.
