The AWS CLI was not working with following errors. 1st time through lab: after yum update the aws cli on the bastion host is broken. 2nd time through lab: no yum update, worked really well, best description of WHAT and the WHY of any lab I have been through on this site. Lab steps were better as well. Super powerful demo of what can be done with auto-scaling and spot instances.
