Hello, I would like to report an issue in the lab **“Data Governance with Dataplex Universal Catalog” / “Setup Dataplex Universal Catalog.”** There seem to be two problems: 1. **Outdated product naming in the lab** The lab still refers to **Dataplex Universal Catalog**, while the UI now shows **Knowledge Catalog**. This is confusing, but it is not the main issue. 2. **The main blocker: automatic Data Quality recommendations do not work after profiling** I completed the **Data Profile / Quick Data Profile** step successfully. The profiling scan finished, the results were visible in the **Data Profile** tab, and the notifications confirmed that the profile scan had been created and published. However, when I moved to **Data Quality → Create Data Quality Scan → Add Rules → Profile based recommendations**, the lab did not work correctly: * no recommended rules were loaded, * nothing could be selected, * the workflow could not continue, * in some attempts the UI showed that no data profile scans were found, even though the profiling had already completed and the results were visible. I also retried the lab in an incognito window, refreshed the page, reopened the wizard, and waited for the profiling scan to finish completely, but the issue remained. So the lab needs not only a terminology update from **Dataplex Universal Catalog** to **Knowledge Catalog**, but also a fix for the **automatic Data Quality rule generation based on profiling results**, because that step is currently blocking completion of the lab. Could you please review and fix the lab, or provide a supported workaround for this step? Thank you.

This is my second attempt. I'm still stuck in Task 2 Step 15 because despite the previous page detecting the data profile scan at the table level, the next page referring to "Profile based recommendations" cannot detect the data profile scan at the project level. The service account is probably misconfigured. Please fix so I can finally claim my credential. Based on the reviews, people are still able to complete it last month. Did anything change this April 2026? It appears I'm not the only one encountering this error. Please fix. Thanks.

Got stuck in Data Quality Scan because it's not detected by the Profile-based recommendation rule adding. I've already kept running the Data profile Scan. In a previous tab, it's already detected but in the Add Rules part, somehow, it's not. Might have something to do with Data Catalog deprecation into Knowledge Catalog, I suppose.

The system generated your data profile, but the specific pop-up menu designed to read that profile is glitched and blind to it. Because it can't see the profile, it refuses to generate the automated rules the lab manual is asking for.

The task 2 require a few improvements. Step 6 is not intuitive, it should be described better. I had a difficulties with a finding a correct field. I was blocked in Step 14 even if I was waiting a 5 minutes for a table records to appear. I saw a message "No data profile scans found in the selected project. Results from a data profile scan are required for automated rule recommendations. Please select a different project or create a new data profile scan in current project." This was the first lab ever which I haven't completed due to a complexity and a time slot was to small.
