Functional verification — SSH'd directly into utility-vm and confirmed both backends serve HTTP correctly: curl 10.10.20.2 → returns page from instance-group-1-67k7 curl 10.10.30.2 → returns page from instance-group-2-m30g Troubleshooting already performed: Verified firewall rules from Task 1 are correctly applied and active. Verified network tags on both templates match the firewall target tag (lb-backend). Fixed and re-verified an initial oversight where instance-group-1 was missing its autoscaler; confirmed it now shows AUTOSCALED: yes. Re-ran "Check my progress" multiple times after each fix, with no change in score for this task.
