It would be much more helpful to include an actual running service that can be killed, and thus trigger a failure on an uptime check. For example, it would be easy enough to create a webserver instance, monitor it and verify that it is running, then stop it on the command line thus triggering a downtime warning. I think this would make this lab much more meaningful without adding any serious complexity. As it is, this lab is too trivial.

In this lab I had a problem, Stackdriver couldn't find my project. Couldn't find a project with the name "qwiklabs-gcp-33445237f14191a1". Click "New Project" in the dropdown menu to create a new one. I will try it again. I have tried, doesn't help. I will wait until tommorow.
