If you are trying to teach Terraform, mesing with resources attributes is not the best way. I am terraform instructor and I'm sure this is not the path. Yo have to start explaining what kind of elements Terraform has, then, explain variables, functions (for simple transforms), resources, modules.... but explaining directly the structure, not with a copy paste with several iterations for adding attributes.... It could be easier if you just explain resources have its own attributes and modules also, and modules attributes are variables at the module level... nothing else.

Unfortunately, there are no options to finish the lab: - provided code examples don't work. Once I fixed that, received: - n1-standard-1 VM instance is currently unavailable in the us-central1-a zone. + I tried to pass it a few times later - still the same issue.
