There was an error in the tls.tf where the key_algorithm is a Read-Only attribute but it was set in the file and that threw the following error. Error: Invalid Configuration for Read-Only Attribute on tls.tf line 23, in resource "tls_self_signed_cert" "example": 23: key_algorithm = tls_private_key.example.algorithm Removing the line 23 worked - the terraform plan command was able to execute without error.

Error on excecute a plan: $ terraform plan -out=tfplan -var 'project=qwiklabs-gcp-00-9bd5cd294757' Error: Invalid Configuration for Read-Only Attribute on tls.tf line 23, in resource "tls_self_signed_cert" "example": 23: key_algorithm = tls_private_key.example.algorithm Cannot set value for this attribute as the provider has marked it as read-only. Remove the configuration line setting the value. Refer to the provider documentation or contact the provider developers for additional information about configurable and read-only attributes that are supported.
