Looks like the Navigation menu in GCP console has changed for interconnect and that is not updated in the Lab steps.

The routes labelled 169.254.0.1 and .2 are seem like they were created out of nowhere. How were those IP addresses chosen? How were these addresses known for entry in the BGP creation dialogs (or rather, couild we have selected any IP address?).
