This happened in another lab for me that when I wanted to creat the dataproc cluster using GUI, I could not change the congifure nodes and I had to use bash terminal and go back and forth with Gemini to solve the problem. IN GUI there was no N2 machine series for Master node nor for worker nodes. I made sure the primary disk type is set for Standard Persistent Disk.
