Did not auto-refresh the VM build. Had to manually refresh, unwritten step. Did not specify to use EC2-User as the username during step until troubleshooting step.

When I try to ssh to public IP, it was always getting timed out. Any thoughts??

little confusing at the end for connecting to the machine...it asked for user and I was not familiar with unix....it should probably good idea to have people use windows if they don't know how to use Linux.
