ok. completed this lab properly and things ran smoothly. better than intro to AWS IAM and intro to AWS lambda. however, it would have been great if they explained a bit of what EC2 helped to achieve as i am completely new to it. could do the tutorial but ended up not being clear of what i had accomplished until i asked a friend.
