I felt pressured to complete the lab as quickly as possible without actually "learning". I simply ran through the steps in hopes that time did not run out. I'm still uncertain what the consequences might be should the timer expire. In this instance of fundamental training, I know this is basic, but I question spending money on future labs because of this experience.

I experienced connection time out issue when trying to connect to the AMI instance, using Putty. I was unable to complete the lab because of that. Also, the AMI instance status is not auto refreshing to show its "Running". For a long time, I saw "Initializing" in the Server Status. I had to manually refresh it to see the latest status.
