Good example of the basics... It might be helpfully to mention for the user to hit the "refresh" button so they don't wait the entire time for the EC2 instance to be ready.

Nice basic lab. One nitpick: In the instructions for creating an instance, the 'tip' section comes after instruction to go to the next step, IMO it should be before.
