Pretty straight forward but indeed very very basic. A more detailed explanation of each of the steps would be good

At one point, the guide splits into two tracks for Windows and Unix users, which is fine. However, some critical information needed for the Unix track was available only in the Windows track. If you're working on OSX/Linux, be sure to read the first part of the Windows section, or you'll be lost.

Perhaps you should instruct students to install Putty and PuttyGen BEFORE starting the lab.
