Nice overview, but would like to have a better introduction. Specifically, it would be nice to understand how EC2 instances differ from standard VPS hosts. I'm very new to this, so it's not clear.

Begining of lab should mention that if student is using Mac, they don't need to install Putty and jump to OpenSSH CLI section directly.
