Pretty solid tutorial on how to use Amazon EC2. Wish it had a deeper example though.

That was fairly complicated, what with making an ID, then confirming it in my e-mail, downloading the key file, going back and forth between the instructions and connection tab, and later the new window with the console, and so on. But at the end it sort of made sense. Instructions & connections tabs are awkward.
