The numbered steps were helpful, but sometimes the comments seemed to be in the wrong place, referring to a screen that we already moved past. The comments about the instance status did not seem correct; in the console, my instance never moved past initializing. Somewhat confusing but I did finish. You should warn people to download putty beforehand!

Instructions were pretty thorough. For some reason it took a good bit of time for the instance status to show a ready status though, which took up a lot of the lab time.
