dataflow is really slow and not able to finish in like 10 minutes and even failed in my case.

The Lab failed due to Quota issue, the Lab finished due to dataflow keep failing, completely stuck here ERROR:apache_beam.runners.dataflow.dataflow_runner:2026-03-12T15:13:17.182Z: JOB_MESSAGE_ERROR: Startup of the worker pool in us-east1 failed to bring up any of the desired 1 workers. This is likely a quota issue or a Compute Engine stockout. The service will retry. For troubleshooting steps, see https://cloud.google.com/dataflow/docs/guides/common-errors#worker-pool-failure for help troubleshooting. ZONE_RESOURCE_POOL_EXHAUSTED: Instance 'beamapp-root-0312150929-8-03120809-dkjp-harness-tt9f' creation failed: The zone 'projects/qwiklabs-gcp-01-f6f10900eaff/zones/us-east1-c' does not have enough resources available to fulfill the request. The lab is currently impossible to complete due to a lack of resources in the required region. When attempting to run the Dataflow job, it fails repeatedly with the following error: JOB_MESSAGE_ERROR: Startup of the worker pool in us-east1-b/c failed... ZONE_RESOURCE_POOL_EXHAUSTED. Critical Points: Infrastructure Stockout: There are no n1-standard-1 workers available in any of the zones within us-east1 (tested in b and c). Restricted Workarounds: I attempted to switch the region to us-central1 to complete the task, but the project has a constraints/gcp.resourceLocations policy that blocks any region other than the one suggested by the lab. Soft Delete Warning: The lab also triggers several warnings regarding "soft-delete policy" on the buckets, which might need to be updated in the setup scripts. Please update the lab to allow alternative regions or ensure there is enough capacity in us-east1 for students.
