You should notice to apprentice about set the correct permision to put external CSEK into the bucket. Because in the default config is unchecked.

During the lab, I encountered a problem when uploading CSEK-encrypted files to the Cloud Storage bucket because the error “PreconditionException: 412 Requested encryption type for object is not compliant with the bucket's encryption enforcement configuration” appeared. After reviewing the .boto file configuration, the encryption keys, and the bucket policies, the issue was resolved by creating a new bucket and correctly uploading the files using the customer-supplied encryption keys.

05/14/2026, I was able to put encryption key in Boto file of nano editor. both setup files were done. But the task 3 did not pass complete. I also received a warning about instructions. I FOLLOWED instructions and have screenshots and videos.

Sorry but this one was horrible for me. The encryption key I went through many times setting it and unsetting it, but the setup2 and setup3 html files would not encrypt due to encryption errors.
