Some of the instructions are insanely vague and if you make a single mistake during the deployment section like I did then you have to spend half hour redoing the entire lab

This lab doesn't actually work. The script doesn't work because the zone is out of the range of permissions, and the Kubernetes Engine UI is not like the lab suggests. there is no option.
