Taking one star off, as the reference to applying firebase authentication is outdated and incompatible. See step 7 on the last section. Add the following Firebase library below the firebase-app.js line in the Firebase configuration you just added: <script src="https://www.gstatic.com/firebasejs/7.5.2/firebase-auth.js"></script>
