Really, you should test the workshops before proposing them : - It seems you have either a new version of google-genai, either a new version of google-auth. But, they are misaligned and a source of bug in the notebook. (I had to "!pip install --upgrade --force-reinstall --no-cache-dir google-auth google-genai") - The notebook randomly (timely ?) jumps back to the top. This ui contrariety is really frustrating. - The contents of the workshop in the notebook story do no align. Some parts tell us to test the date of the day in the cells, and other parts to test the last solar eclipse in the commented and associated markdown explanations. - The most stupefying was for "the most recent eclipse" query. Neither the non-grounded search (june 2024), nor the grounded search (paradoxically april 2024 ! before june 2024, yet it is web search grounded !) give the correct answer. It's funny that gemini on the web gives the right answer : february 2026. - The quering of the data store seems to be erratic and non deterministic, after its setup (it may work in the notebook, but it may not work with the orange validation of assessed points in the workshop page). Perhaps, is it time to clean up seriously the content of this workshop ? Yet it is very instructive and aimed at presenting the generative ai solutions from gcp.
