The lab provides excellent hands-on experience with VPC security and Identity-Aware Proxy (IAP). However, the automated checking scripts for Tasks 3 and 4 can be a bit glitchy if the firewall rules are created solely via Cloud Shell. Navigating to the VPC Firewall UI, toggling the log settings, and manually saving the rule triggers the verification instantly. Great learning experience on how GCP IAP secures instances without external IPs!
