I COULDNT SOLVE THIS ERROR IAP + firewall + routing are all OK (both forward/return paths are REACHABLE). IAM for IAP tunnel is OK (“User permissions: 0 issue(s)”). The remaining failure is purely SSH authentication on the VM: Permission denied (publickey) → the VM didn’t accept the SSH key for the username you’re trying to log in with
