The "Lamp Uptime Check" was not connecting properly even thought the instructions were closely followed and redone. I think it was an error with Stackdriver actually connecting to the instance. When I first started Stackdriver I didn't see the instance but I was able to select it by clicking the select all button, even thought it wasn't visible.
