The lab has a bug: OS Login is enabled project-wide (enable-oslogin=true in project metadata), but the lab instructions never mention granting roles/compute.osAdminLogin or disabling OS Login. This causes the "SSH authentication failed" error in Task 7 when trying to connect to the demoiam VM. Students either need the OS Login role pre-granted, or OS Login should be disabled in the lab's project template. This cost significant troubleshooting time on what should be a straightforward IAM exercise.
