Latest syntax is pubsub.topic.publishMessage instead of publisher.publish. Example: .publishMessage({data: Buffer.from(newFilename)}) A more engaging iAM challenge would be to setup a service account with only the required permission: pub/sub publisher, storage object creator/viewer.

Deployment didnt work properly as "index.js" needs to be updated with "const PORT = process.env.PORT || 8080; app.listen(PORT, () => console.log(`Listening on port ${PORT}`));"
