Faced persistent issues throughout the lab. In the first attempt, the Cloud Run Function worked correctly - thumbnails were generated on image upload and messages were published to the Pub/Sub topic - but the Task 3 progress check never marked as complete despite the function working as expected. This appears to be a grader-side issue. Restarted the lab, only to face a new problem where the bucket itself could not be created.
