Lab Task 3 says to create a “Cloud Run Function (2nd gen)” in the Console, but “Check my progress” only passes when the function is registered via the Cloud Functions v2 API (gcloud functions deploy --gen2). Deploying through Cloud Run → “Write a function” works (thumbnail created, trigger fires) yet fails the check because gcloud functions list --v2 is empty. Please align the lab instructions/grader with the current Console UI or document that CLI deploy is required. The lack of guidance and unclear instructions led to plenty of frustration when trying to complete this lab. I have to use Cursor to solve the issue because even Google Search AI mode was unable to help me troubleshoot the issue.
