I created the http load balancer as required and the endpoint(external IP address) was also opening with given http contents ``Page served from: lb-backend-group-tl7t`` and also switching between different instances maped the load balancer. not sure why the last task is not marked completed

Appalling designed lab. This was hard to navigate and complete as a beginner to GCP. There are hidden options in different tabs when creating the VM which is not clear from the tutorial itself. You tell me how to add the VM tag when I've never done this before. I created the 3 VMs then step 2 was to create a startup script when I had already created the VMs. I then had to figure out how to edit the VMs, add the script in but then I still couldn't curl into the VMs for some reason. What the f is debian-cloud? I searched and could not find an option stating this. On the boot disk tab I saw 'Debian' and was like close enough. If a GCP lab is this hard to navigate and complete, I might as well switch back to AWS as the dominant and de-facto cloud provider. Thanks.
