The project for the "Implement Load Balancing on Compute Engine: Challenge Lab" does not expose the required us-west8 region. gcloud compute regions list does not include us-west8, and every command begins with Regional Access Boundary HTTP request failed: Account not found...

Nothing worked again. Zone and Regions cannot seem to be set. Received constant error messages. I tried more than 3 times and the same errors shown.
